The Grange at Lower Barn Farm is a quirky, rustic, converted detached barn designed with a touch of industrial components which makes for an ideal rural getaway. 70 acres of rolling country side and wooded grounds on the Kent and Sussex borders, complete with idyllic fishing lakes, are just waiting to be explored. There are woodland walks, an abundance of wildlife to be discovered and even the 14th century Bodiam castle, a 5 minute ride away, if you’re lucky you might even spot a kingfisher. The space Surrounded by fields and farmland once owned by the Guinness family for farming their hops, this wonderful property is located close to the village of Bodiam. Situated next door to the owner, the detached former farm building provide a comfortable and welcoming base for a wonderful holiday in Sussex. The Grange has a mezzanine floor using ash trees from the woodland with a rustic pallet double bed on top, below a foldaway day bed. The floor plan consists of a toilet, one bath / shower with a sink. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a fan assisted electric oven and a two burner electric hob and sink. Outside is a private courtyard area through the French doors with seating area and a wood fired hot tub! For safety purposes, glassware is prohibited from the hot tub. The design of 'The Grange' has been rustic with an ethos of reusing materials from the local area & on the farm, giving you that extra special feeling when staying.
